Questions

Frequently asked questions

Our service radius is roughly 30 miles from Houston, which covers Pearland, Katy, Tomball, Cypress, Spring, The Woodlands, Jersey Village and the north, south and west sides of the city. The limit is deliberate rather than arbitrary. Crews stuck in traffic are not on your job, and warranty calls need to be answerable the same week.

Yes, and it changes what a project costs and how long approval takes. Work inside Houston city limits goes through the City of Houston Permitting Center, while much of Cypress, Spring and the Champions area sits in unincorporated Harris County with its own process. Jersey Village and South Houston are separate incorporated cities that run their own permitting.

Yes. Communities such as Cinco Ranch in Katy, Bridgeland in Cypress and The Woodlands require architectural review before exterior work begins, on top of the municipal permit. Bring the HOA guideline sheet to the walkthrough. Approval timelines there commonly add two to six weeks, and that wait belongs in the schedule from day one rather than as a surprise.

Call and ask, because the honest answer depends on the size of the job. A full remodel or an addition can justify the drive, while a half-day repair usually cannot be staffed well at that distance. We would rather tell you no up front than take the job and give it the leftovers of the week.

Short drives mean tighter scheduling, and a contractor who can get back to you when it matters.
